  • Try to avoid disturbing them, don’t let them know they have been discovered, (we need these termites to carry our treatment back to the parent colony at a later date). We understand it is very tempting to pry open the damaged timber to get a better look or spray them with insecticide but this will only make the situation worse and potentially harder for us to treat. Killing a few individuals is pointless; this will simply alert the remainder of colony to the impending danger causing the termites to abandon the area and splinter into many sub-groups that attack new areas of your home.
